possibly . . . attending improbable k-pop concerts in which para-social relationships must be managed with care — most crucially after the concert when the tour rolls into another city to ensure each show is the best night of other people’s lives
yes . . . learning hundreds of names at the beginning of a new school year at a different school with the help of seating charts and name cards
annoyingly yes . . . managing that one person’s adversity to change when you are the new person
perplexingly, no . . . waiting for late summer spiderwort to revive (I composted their slimy blackened leaves — too much water, inconsistent or not enough?)

during a more flourishing season in early June
maybe . . . ward off the beginnings of a cold (salt water gargle, early bed time and Vitamin C)
not yet . . . weathering down the sharp pangs of exclusion and harboring resentment triggered at unexpected times
only if I write . . . response after my squarespace bill popped up again
